Drivers Education

This State of Delaware approved program consists of classroom, single car instruction and simulation while under the supervision of a qualified teacher. The single car instruction is given in a dual-control car which has a brake pedal on the right-hand side for the instructor's use, is equipped with an effective restraint system, extra rear view mirrors and other safety devices. Adequate insurance coverage is carried for the Driver Education car and all the people who use and ride in it. The teacher of this program has had special preparation for this important work and certified be the State Department of Public Education.
In the thirty classroom hours of instruction and simulation your child will learn much of what is needed to know about drivers, automobiles and the highway transportation system to function as a safe, competent driver is traffic. During the in-car instruction the student will learn and must demonstrate good car control, good judgment, sound defensive driving techniques and good attitudes.
